In Terms of astrology and zodiac sign the end is also the beginning of me. Neptune is the most influential planet for pisces and also represents in the zodiac as well as the solar System the end. The diaconomy of beginning and end fits very good at that Phase in my life.When i got my result for my last Semester in my Bachelor Course ,  which reprsents the end,I had to start my Master Course Right away in a couple of days, which was in middle of march, which is my Birth month. Funny,how life goes.

In this page i present the Projects i took part in and self-developed work based on the assignments given by the University..Here you can get a glimpse on the difficulty to make yourself heard although maybe you speak another "language" in the context of conveying your ideas although your thought-process belongs to 4.9 % of the whole human population. As you can imagine to speak human language as an Alien is not very easy and sometimes words are not enough to Convey certain ideas and Feelings.In the learning process of taking part in the human Society i learned and probably will learn more and more to make myself heard in the way i want to.

Moreover, after years gone by i realised that the reflection process is very important, because it gives you time to Analyse what went good and wrong and not to do similar mistakes in the future..

The temporary University is a Project where refugees get the possibility to attend lectures which normally they do not have Access to. Most of the lectures deals with Topics that influences their lives like diversity or Woman Rights. This Project evolved through a cooperation Project between the Moving Network and BOP. 

The Moving Network is a project started by a team of international experts, researching about migration issues in Berlin from an educational perspective.

The project’s results are explained through the Empowerment Trust Circle Model, which aims at generating and implementing integration strategies for refugees through empowering them as teachers and multipliers. The empowering trust circle is achieved by the multiplying effect of cooperation between individuals, who share knowledge and cultural values. The involvement in one or more networks is able to educate People to integrate into society.

The Board of Participation e.V. (BoP) is an international platform for Exchange in the context of artistic and scientific Research and practice.Experts from different scientific and artistic fields work together on concepts of Empowerment, community Building and participation with a stong Focus on interdisciplinary approaches.

The first steps for our Group was to get to know the members of Bop and the moving Network as well as  trying to understand the Concept of the Temporary University by watching a lecture by Halah AlHayek who works in Human Resource Management, Empowerment and Women's Rights about Integration and identity at Refugio in Berlin. The first steps for our Group was to understand the complex structure of the Project and to Analyse what Kind of Tasks we have to do to make this Project effecient. My first Task in this Project was to develop a cooperate identity for the Project with other members in my Group.This was my design proposel:

With my design-draft of the flyer i wanted to convey the message that the Temporary University is a project that is multicultural and everyone who is interested is invited to participate in the project. Moreover, it should convey the message that the refugees do not have to lose their culture to be part of the German society and there is a possibility for an exchange between the cultures.

As a group we decided to use a design-draft of someone else because we thought it represents our project the best but worked on the final design as a Group.

I was responsible to write and send invitation E-mails to the participants who visited the events before. Social Media Marketing was also part of my tasks, where we used facebook as a plattform to promote our Events.

The final phase of the project marketing which ends with the project end, is about a final valuation. As a group we decided that to promote with flyers is not very effective so we only promote the events with posters, word of mouth and Social-Media.

1.4 Powerpoint as a tool for refugees (organization of a subevent for ambassadors „presentation skills“)

Although there is no more significant difference between people and their knowledge/abilities through globalization and internet there is also often a difference in the abilities of using different software tools for presentation which is often a must in the western countries. Moreover in many professions it is a needed ability to use at least common used presentation tools as power point.To give the ambassonders but also refugees the possibility to better their knowledge in using different tools and making good presentation in terms of western or German standards i organized a lecture held by Master Student Dana Alomari. I planned and organized the lecture of the Macromedia-Master Student Dana Alomari about Presentation Skills for the Ambassonders and other interessted refugees so i had to find a place, have to promote this event (e.g facebook-event,flyer,through email) and check the technical equipement.The lecture was held at the Macromedia University.

The lecture was held on 30th May 2016 at the Macromedia University. In the lecture Dana Alomari explained and showed the software power point by explaining the functions and features. Moreover she talked about general presentation skills like oral skills and body language and also handed out a handout with the most important points of the lecture.

The feedback of the attenders

The attenders of Dana Alomaris lecture gave a positive feedback about the content and the structure of the lecture. Moreover, the participants liked how Dana Alomari presented and explained how power point works.They explained that they understand everything and it was not hard to understand and easy to follow. Additionally, they said the lecture was helpful and they learned new important things about how to structure a good presentation with german characteristics.The atmosphere was relaxed and she answered all the questions the participants had.

1.5 My Review on the Project

The Interdisciplinary Project “ Temporary University “ was an interesting and enriching experience because this project is different in his approach as instead of helping the refugees we support them by providing lectures by different lecturers who are experts in the field like Media ,Ethics or Politics. During the Interdisciplinary Project all members of the project took a long time to understand the complex structure of the project.The difficulty lied in the tasks we had to do to make the project work especially in terms who the lectures are for and what tasks each member has.Also, a problematic topic was the coordination about the tasks the group of the moving network and the temporary university. But in the first weeks this problem could be solved and each member of our group find their responsibilities.With the start of the first lecture on the 25th of May 2016 at refugio held by Halah Al-Hayek we as the temporary university got the first indicator whether our approach to the project is right or we have to change it.The lecture went well und we only got positive responses by the participants.It went on smoothly and they were active discussions through the lecture.With the Basis on the first lecture we planned the second and third lecture.Overall how our project can influence or support the refugees and Bop-Ambassadors is a matter of time and more planned lectures to tell but based on the early positive feedbacks we got there is a positive Outlook.
